Enso or Zen circles are one of the most alluring subjects in Zen art.
The circle itself seems to be the universal symbol of wholeness and completeness, telling the story of the cyclical nature of existence and

• Being the intuitive manifestation of the Heart Sutra's content:

"Form is emptiness, emptiness is form."
In Sumi-e painting, the Enso circle can be drawn in two ways:
As a closed circle or a circle with a small break.
◉ The closed circle represents the completeness of an experience and the wholeness of life.
◉ The broken circle indicates the imperfection of all things that must be stopped in the pursuit of perfection.
En - means circle
Sō - this kanji has several meanings including mutual, mutual, together, aspect or phase
In summary, the meaning is circle.
Another interpretation considers Enso as

• The Circle of Togetherness.

The more traditional interpretation of the symbol is

• The cyclical nature of life, the symbol of the beginning and ending of all things.

The background is made by blending several types of marble:
Smooth lined fractured marbleIn the black matte and white - soft and hard - opposites, yet at the same time, they are always balanced together - a harmonious symbol. The concept of "Yin" and "Yang" is also present in the structure of the ideograms themselves - in white lines (on ascending lines/on folded left/on folded right),black thin lines are drawn, and vice versa, on the black shadows - white thin lines.Here I used several different tonalities of gold leaf potassium gilding:
classic gold, pink gold, ancient and yellow gold -
as there are only two opposing harmonious combinations in the world, so I drew a line between them against the background of marble technique - the so-called golden mean.Energetic shapes and intense lines contrast, sudden rhythm changes and multiple repetitions reinforce the illusion of infinite internal motion. The ideograms are written in spiral strokes, several lines are interwoven, textural elements protrude between these surfaces, thus activating this mechanism.The word "Balance" is written in the center of the canvas, using calligraphic elements and decorations in Rococo and Baroque styles.At the bottom of each ideogram, I created misty fog in white with alpha and omega. The clouds, mists, fogs and evaporation in the image show the vast horizons of mountain ranges, high peaks and distant trees.
